USDA's November Livestock, Dairy and Poultry Outlook raised feed price forecasts, with the 2020-21 corn price at $4.00/bushel, up 40 cents, and soybean meal at $355/short ton, up $20. Record US corn exports of 2.65 billion bushels are projected on strong Chinese imports and a cut in Ukrainian production.
Higher USDA corn and soymeal price projections, driven by record export demand and Ukrainian drought losses, point to higher feed costs for livestock and poultry buyers.
