The International Grains Council reported its grains and oilseeds price index rose 8% in October to its highest level in over six years. Corn rose 18%, soybeans 8% and wheat 7%, while rice fell 1%.
Rising global prices driven by import demand and tight old-crop supplies raise feed ingredient costs for buyers across all grains.
