StoneX expects Brazil's 2020/21 winter corn area to rise 8.5% on strong domestic and export demand and high prices. Total Brazilian corn output is estimated at about 109.3 million tons including Conab's third-crop figure, which would be a record, though the first summer crop was cut to 25.3 million tons.
A record Brazilian corn crop and larger stocks would add export competition and cap U.S. corn prices, while the summer cut partly offsets that supply growth.
