The American Agricultural Law Association hosted a panel of Washington agricultural policy specialists on what the 117th Congress and Biden administration mean for farmers. Panelists discussed the narrow Democratic majorities in both chambers and expected policy shifts on immigration, climate and water regulation.
A narrow congressional majority and new executive leadership raise uncertainty over farm support and regulation, but the panel offered no concrete new measure that would move feed grain prices directly.
