EUR/USD fell as European currencies lagged and the dollar advanced, even after eurozone inflation rose to 0.9% in January from -0.3%. Core inflation rose to 1.4%, above consensus.
Analysts said the data were partly anticipated and the 1.20 level offers support.
A weaker euro against a firm dollar makes US commodities relatively more expensive for euro-based buyers, though the effect on feed prices is modest.
