WASDE bearish for corn, mildly bullish for wheat

Grain Central reports that the February WASDE was seen as very bearish for corn and mildly bullish for wheat, with soybeans neutral. USDA cut Chinese wheat ending stocks by 4 million tonnes and Indian stocks by 3.8 million, lowering world wheat stocks to 304.22 million tonnes.

World corn ending stocks rose 2.7 million tonnes to 286.53 million.

Lower wheat stocks in China and India support wheat prices, while the corn stock increase keeps pressure on corn values.
