The US International Trade Commission determined that subsidized phosphate fertilizer imports from Morocco and Russia materially injure the US industry. The Commerce Department will issue countervailing duty orders that are expected to stay in place for at least five years.
Duties on major phosphate imports will tighten US supply and raise domestic DAP and phosphate prices, which increases input costs for US crop and feed producers.
