USDA's April WASDE cut global 2020/21 wheat ending stocks by 5.7 MMT to 295.5 MMT, below trade expectations and the first forecast under 300 MMT. Tighter U.S. corn carryout also lifted corn prices, and Argentina projects wheat area up 4%.
A tighter wheat balance and higher corn prices encourage wheat substitution into feed rations, supporting wheat and corn feed values.
