China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs published guidelines recommending lower corn and soybean meal in pig and poultry feed. The guidance lists alternatives including rice, barley, sorghum, distillers grains and other meals, with region-specific formulations.
It follows a March request for nutritionists to develop alternative-grain formulas.
