US soybean futures dropped after Trump confirmed he would postpone his trip to China for trade talks. He said the summit with Xi would now take place in about five or six weeks instead of at the end of March, and had earlier linked the delay to the war with Iran.
A later summit delays the expected confirmation of Chinese soybean purchase commitments, weighing on US soybean prices in the near term.
