The US Department of Commerce made a final affirmative determination that methionine imports from Spain are being sold at less than fair value for the July 2019 to June 2020 period. Commerce also found critical circumstances for the sole mandatory respondent Adisseo España and all other producers and exporters.
Antidumping duties on Spanish methionine would tighten US supply of this feed amino acid and likely lift prices for poultry and swine feed buyers who rely on imports.
