Argentine industry officials said soyoil exports will likely rise after lawmakers approved a measure cutting the soy-based biofuel blend in domestic diesel. The law was expected to be signed before month-end, and Argentina exported 5.36 million tonnes of soyoil last year, mainly to India.
Lower domestic biodiesel use shifts more Argentine soyoil into export channels, adding supply to a market where Argentina holds a large share, pressuring international soyoil prices.
