Most Asian emerging currencies firmed on Monday, led by the South Korean won and Malaysian ringgit, as the dollar fell after Fed Chair Powell signalled no rush to tighten policy. Analysts said focus was shifting to the US August jobs report due Friday.
The ringgit was supported by the new Malaysian cabinet retaining its finance minister.
