The DTN Digital Yield Tour found Iowa corn averaging 199 bu/acre and Wisconsin corn at 178.5 bu/acre, while drought has trimmed top-end yields in Minnesota. Gro's models show strong soybean yields in Iowa and Wisconsin.
Strong yields in the core Corn Belt states point to ample supply, which tempers the drought-driven rally in feed grains. Weakness in Minnesota yields limits how much the surplus offsets the national shortfall.
