DTN analyst Joel Karlin charted soybean crop condition changes from mid-June to mid-September across the top 18 producing states. Dakotas, Minnesota, Nebraska and North Carolina saw the largest declines as heat and dryness persisted all season.
Deteriorating soybean ratings in key northern states point to lower yields and tighter supplies, which supports soybean and meal prices.
