Indonesian palm oil prices have surged, and the planned B30 biodiesel mandate is at risk. An export duty of US$291 per tonne on crude palm oil is in place, but producers still favor the domestic market.
Domestic biodiesel demand and export levies reduce palm oil export availability, which supports palm and soybean oil prices and feed fat costs.
