The US dollar held near 18-month highs against major currencies on Monday after its best week in seven months, driven by safe-haven demand and rising Fed rate-hike forecasts. The euro traded at $1.1161 and the Aussie at $0.701 ahead of central bank meetings in Australia, the UK and Europe.
A stronger dollar makes US-priced grains, oilseeds and meals more expensive for overseas buyers, which can weigh on US export demand and futures prices.
