Dozens of Portland longshore workers with ILWU Local 8 staged a two-day unfair labor practice strike at Terminal 5 on Dec. 6.
They are protesting a $15 million lawsuit that Japan-based Pacificor, which owns Columbia Export Terminal, has pursued for three years against 150 local grainhandlers. The union says the suit was thrown out by federal courts.
