India may export record 6.5 million tonnes of wheat this fiscal

India's wheat exports are forecast to reach a record 6.5-7 million tonnes this fiscal, supported by strong South and Southeast Asian demand. About 4.5 mt had been shipped by December, and Indian wheat was offered at $300-305 a tonne.

重要性

Larger Indian wheat exports at competitive prices add supply to Asian import markets and cap prices for rival origins such as Australia and the Black Sea.
