PIRSA estimated South Australia's 2021-22 harvest at 8.32 Mt, above the 10-year average of 7.73 Mt, with a record farm gate value of $3.2 billion. Wheat was 4.66 Mt and barley 2.22 Mt, and GM canola made up about 10 per cent of canola output.
