Krishi Jagran reports that China, Indonesia and Vietnam are turning to 100% broken rice for animal feed because maize supplies are short and prices are rising. Exporters are accepting only small container orders, and Indian maize prices are above the minimum support price as Kharif stocks run low.
Maize shortages are pushing Asian feed buyers into rice, which supports rice prices and makes maize harder to source.
