Ukrainian sunflowerseed exports reached a record 311,711 tonnes since the start of the marketing year, about 39% above the 2020/21 pace. Lower domestic crush demand and prices encouraged traders to ship, though border and Danube queues delay deliveries.
Heavier seed exports reduce the supply available for domestic crushing, which tightens sunflower meal and oil output and supports prices in importing markets.
