Rabobank's Poultry Report says the global poultry market is challenged by inflation, labor shortages and higher distribution costs. U.S. chicken sales in June were up 18.3% in dollars with volumes down only 0.8%, and broiler exports remain at record levels, with strong exports to China.
Record exports and tight domestic supply keep U.S. chicken prices firm, supporting demand for feed ingredients in broiler production. Strong dollar and geopolitical risk could slow exports and temper the price outlook.
