The EU's short-term outlook shows dairy prices at record levels, with butter near €7,300/t and SMP above €4,000/t in mid-June. EU milk collection is forecast to fall 0.6% in 2022, and butter exports are due to rise 2%.
Raw milk prices were about 40% above the five-year average in May.
