US LNG export terminals are ramping up output as European and Asian gas prices hit records, with European onshore prices reaching as high as $100/MMBtu. US feedgas demand reached its highest since July 1, and Venture Global's Calcasieu Pass is running at a record rate while Freeport LNG remains shut.
Strong European and Asian LNG prices pull US supply into export markets, tightening domestic gas and raising energy costs that feed into nitrogen fertilizer and drying costs for feed production.
