The Australian dollar was little changed after RBA minutes, staying near two-year lows despite a hawkish central bank. Markets expect the Fed to raise rates by 75 basis points, and the RBA is considering a 25 or 50 basis point hike at its October meeting.
The widening policy-rate gap between the Fed and RBA keeps pressure on AUD/USD and supports the US dollar against commodity currencies.
