European feed and oilseed groups COCERAL, FEDIOL, and FEFAC said the deforestation regulation voted by Parliament falls short and could disrupt supply chains. They warned that traceability-to-plot requirements and country benchmarking could reduce soy and palm availability in the EU.
The groups expect inflationary pressure on these commodities.
