A Grain Industry Association of Victoria crop tour estimated Victorian Mallee wheat yields at 3.52 t/ha, double the 2021 level, implying about 2.34 million tonnes from 664,341 ha. The tour put total Victorian wheat at 5.856 Mt, well above ABARES's 4.37 Mt estimate.
