ABARES reports that adverse 2022 global production conditions, including persistent drought and heat, have cut world grain output, especially rice and coarse grains. Global grain and oilseed production is now expected to fall below the September forecast.
Lower global supplies of coarse grains and oilseeds tighten the export pool for feed buyers and support prices for corn, sorghum, barley and meal.
