A Bloomberg review says Russia, Belarus and China supply most of the world's fertilizers, and the UN flagged fertilizer disruption as a key 2023 food availability risk. A cargo of 20,000 tonnes of Russian fertilizer trapped in Rotterdam was released with UN mediation and shipped to Malawi.
