AAFC's March supply and demand estimates left most Canadian crop projections unchanged, with wheat exports for 2022-23 raised to 24.3 MMT and the canola price forecast lifted to C$890/t for the current year. The new-crop canola price was held at C$850/t.
Higher export projections and a firmer canola price outlook tighten Canadian wheat and canola balances, modestly supporting prices in those markets.
