APK-Inform estimates Ukraine's sunflower seed exports in 2023/24 at about 1.4 million tonnes, down 39% year on year. The agency cites protests in Europe, a likely EU ban on Ukrainian raw materials, expanding EU sunflower plantings, and uncertainty over the grain corridor's extension.
