Australian feed grain markets are supported by lifting of Chinese barley tariffs and dry conditions across the main cropping states, with WA soil moisture especially low. Western Australian barley rallied over $50/t in a month and now trades at a premium to Geelong and to CME corn.
Dry weather combined with restored Chinese export access is lifting Australian barley prices, particularly in export-oriented WA, and making barley more expensive than corn.
