Southeast Asian currencies have weakened as the US dollar extended its run since mid-July, the longest in nearly a decade. The 10-year Treasury yield breached 5% on October 23 for the first time since 2007, and the dollar index is up about 5% since July.
The baht is among the region's biggest decliners, down 5.8% since the start of 2023.
