The National Corn Growers Association said the recent cut in duties on Moroccan phosphate may not last. Commerce is recalculating duties after a Court of International Trade order, with a decision due in December, and NCGA continues to press for lower fertilizer costs.
Uncertainty over the duty rate keeps U.S. phosphate import costs unsettled, so DAP pricing could move again when the December remand results are published.
