NCBA, Mexico's CNOG and the Canadian Cattle Association signed a joint statement calling for oversight of lab-grown proteins and protection against animal disease. The groups also sent a letter to the US, Mexican and Canadian governments urging them to reopen beef export markets and apply science-based oversight to beef imports.
