The US dollar fell in European trade on Monday, extending losses for a third session and approaching 14-month lows ahead of a speech by Fed Chair Powell. The index was heading for its largest quarterly loss since late 2022 as US 10-year yields fell to 15-month lows.
Broad dollar weakness and falling US yields support dollar-priced commodities and improve the competitiveness of US exports.
