Ukrainian sunflower demand prices rose by UAH 500 per tonne to UAH 20,500-21,500 as farmers held back sales. Sunflower oil and meal port prices held near $910-930 and $190-195 per tonne, and the USDA cut its Ukraine crop forecast to 12.5 million tonnes.
A smaller Ukrainian sunflower crop than last year reduces oilseed availability and supports sunflower oil and meal prices, while weak soybean oil futures limit gains.
