A Scottish agribusiness outlook says the EU/Black Sea harvest is down about 20.5 Mt year on year, while North American and Canadian output is up 16.5 Mt. It cites French wheat possibly at its lowest since 1984 and German wheat down 15%, while the Nov wheat futures price remains fragile.
Lower European and Black Sea crops are offset by larger North American supplies, leaving wheat prices fragile and feed grain balances mixed for buyers.
