The USDA September outlook lowered 2024 milk cow, milk per cow and total production forecasts and raised the 2024 all-milk price to $23.05 per cwt. The 2025 milk production forecast was cut and the 2025 all-milk price was raised to $23.45 per cwt.
Lower production and higher price forecasts signal stronger US milk and dairy product values into 2025, supporting feed demand for dairy rations.
