According to U.S. Grains Council data through July, U.S. corn exports were up 34.3% year on year in the 2024 marketing year that ended in August. Ethanol exports rose 42.9% and DDGS exports rose 14.8% over the same period.
Minnesota Corn is hosting trade delegations, including a Taiwanese DDGS buyer group in October.
Sharply higher export pace supports U.S. corn and DDGS prices by drawing on domestic supplies. Continued buyer interest from Asia adds to demand going into the new crop year.
