USD/JPY moved toward 155.00 as the yen weakened after a brief uptick on Japanese CPI data. Rising US Treasury yields and expectations for Trump-era policies supported the dollar, and the pair bounced more than 80 pips from below 154.00.
A stronger dollar against the yen tends to weigh on dollar-priced commodities and can make US grain and feed exports relatively more expensive for Japanese buyers.
