The EU Delegation to Vietnam and Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture held a technical exchange on 15 November on deforestation-free supply chains and the EUDR. The session, attended by more than 200 participants, focused on traceability and stakeholder concerns in the timber, rubber and coffee sectors.
The event shows Vietnamese exporters preparing for EU traceability rules, which affects compliance costs for exports, but it does not change near-term supply or prices for the listed commodities.
