The refined, bleached and deodorized soybean oil basis fell in the week to December 4 as refiners faced declining forward demand. Biodiesel producers slowed or stopped feedstock purchases ahead of the shift from the blenders tax credit to the 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit.
Slowing biodiesel feedstock buying and weaker refiner demand reduce near-term soyoil bids, pressuring soyoil basis and prices.
