The American Relief Act of 2025, enacted December 21, 2024, extended the 2018 Farm Bill through the 2025 crop year. It allocated $30.78 billion in farm relief, including $20 billion for 2023 and 2024 disasters and $10 billion for economic losses.
USDA has not yet released details on how the disaster payments will be distributed.
The aid helps farm balance sheets, which can slow forced selling and support acreage decisions. It does not directly alter supply or demand for feed grains.
