USDA projects global sunflower production for 2024/25 at 51.1 million tonnes, down 10%, led by lower output in the EU, Turkey, Ukraine and Russia. Global sunflower oil stocks are forecast to fall 18% to 2.42 million tonnes, the lowest in many years, and US production was cut to 1.15 billion pounds.
