France's Ministry of Agriculture raised its winter soft-wheat area estimate to about 4.57 million hectares, up 10% from 2024 and 0.4% above the five-year average. Winter barley area was cut to 1.21 million hectares, and the ministry warned that waterlogged fields could hurt yields or force resowing.
