IGC data put 2024/25 global sunflowerseed output at about 50.1 million tonnes, down 12.4% and the smallest in four years. Ukraine's forecast of 13 million tonnes is 21.2% lower, and Argentina's and US crops are also reduced.
A tighter global sunflowerseed supply supports meal and oil prices and reduces availability for crushers serving feed buyers.
