Lawmakers eye CCC cash flow to allow uninterrupted payment

Lawmakers are monitoring the Commodity Credit Corporation's spending authority, which is reportedly down to about $4 billion from a $30 billion cap. Funding must be replenished to cover farm payments, trade aid and avian flu compensation, and a continuing resolution passed without replenishment.
