Sources say Kazakhstan's overproduction helped persuade OPEC+ to approve an April output increase of 138,000 barrels per day. The group plans monthly increases to unwind nearly 6 million bpd of cuts, about 6% of global demand.
Overproduction by members means more supply is coming than the official plan implies, adding downward pressure on crude. Lower oil prices reduce biofuel and energy-linked costs across the feed chain.
